You got a traffic violation. It happens to everyone. You can mitigate the situation by signing up for a defensive driving course through Mark's Driving Academy. This program typically lasts about three hours and takes place in a classroom. For traffic violations the cost for the class is $50, and for DUI/DWI's the cost is $60.
Classes are from 5 - 8pm once a month. You can call ahead to register or just show up to the class to register. When you complete the course, you'll receive a certificate. You can use this to prove to the DMV or law enforcement that you completed this course.
